Description of Padlock Seals

Plastic Padlock seals from Dickey Manufacturing Company (DMC) come in a variety of hasps and numerous colors. Often used on utility meters or co-axial cables, the Plastic Padlock is U.S. Customs approved. Widely used by the airline and utility industries, the padlock offers anti-pilferage diversity. DMC offers regular hasp and coaxial hasp padlock seals, The regular hasps features an inward box in the hasp of the padlock seal while the cable hasp is designed specifically to grasp coaxial cable for proper identification.

Locking Instructions

  • Insert the wire hasp through the item to be secured.
  • Reinsert the wire hasp and close wire with your hand until it becomes flush with the plastic body.
  • To remove scored hasps, simply grab the plastic body and the wire hasp, twisting wire hasp until it snaps, then remove seal and dispose of properly.
  • Unscored hasps are required to be removed with wire cutters.
  • If a write-on area is available, add name, date, or other necessary information.
