Plastic Padlock seals come in a variety of hasps and numerous colors. Often used on utility meters or co-axial cable the Plastic Padlock is U.S. Customs approved. Widely used by the airline & utility industries the padlock offers anti-pilferage diversity. The straight hasp features a straight hasp with sharp edges for portrusion upon tampering

  • Materials: Polyethylene (standard), Polypropylene (optional), Transparent (optional).
  • Body Size: 0.75” x 1.50” x 0.17”.
  • Wire Dimensions: Regular hasps: 0.047”, 18 AWG; Coaxial hasps: 0.041”, 19 AWG.
  • Breaking Strength: 100 lbs. (Regular hasp).
  • Custom Printing: Up to 39 characters on three lines and sequential numbering up to 7 digits.
  • Bar-Coding: Serial number replicated in hot-stamping for added tamper resistance.
  • Logos: Available by request.
  • Write-On Areas: Available on one or both sides.
  • Colors: White, green, yellow, orange, blue, red, gray, brown, ivory, gold, purple, burgundy, teal, pink, light blue, rust black, and custom colors upon request.

  1. Insert Hasp: Remove one side of the wire hasp and insert it through the item to be secured.
  2. Secure Hasp: Reinsert the wire hasp and close the wire with your hand until it becomes flush with the plastic body.
  3. Remove Scored Hasps: Grasp the body and twist the wire hasp until it snaps, then remove the seal and dispose of it properly.
  4. Remove Unscored Hasps: Use wire cutters to remove.
  5. Record Seal Number: As required, if the optional write-on area is available, add name, date, or other necessary information.

  • Wide range of colors available including: white, green, yellow, orange, blue, red, gray, brown, ivory, gold, purple, burgundy, teal, pink, light blue rust black and custom colors upon request
  • Seal Body Materials: Polyethylene (standard), Polypropylene (optional), Transparent (optional)
  • Galvanized steel hasps are standard. Stainless steel hasps available for $12.50 per 1000 seals
  • Custom printing with company name, serial numbering, logos available. Requirements are 13 characters per line, maximum of 3 lines per side. *Note all lettering is in “UPPER CASE” only. Printing dies may be purchased for custom fonts and company logos
  • Custom numbering available up to 8 digits
  • Custom bagging of 100/bag and 1000/box available for $3 per 1000 seals
  • Write-on areas on one or both sides available
  • Hot-stamp up to 13 characters* plus choice of bar-coded number sequence. For added security the serial number is also hot stamped on the seal below the bar-code.
  • Default bar-code is Code 39 symbology but others including 128 are available
  • Optional scoring available for tool-less removal
