Lead Press
The DMC Lead Press is constructed of brushed finish stainless steel for long life and will not rust like plated presses. Long handles make crimping lead seals an easy task. Press comes with blank 3/8″ replaceable dies suitable for crimping up to 1/2″ diameter lead disks.
Blank Lead Presses are available that will not leave markings
Custom Lead Press Dies are available and can have up to 3 characters per side.

- Insert Wire: Place the wire through the opening of the item to be sealed.
- Adjust Loop: Pull the wire through the hole in the seal to achieve the desired loop length.
- Crimp the Seal: Place the lead part of the seal into the press and fully compress it to close the openings in the lead seal.
- Check Security: Gently pull on the seal to ensure it is properly locked.
- Record Seal Number: If required, record the seal number for tracking purposes.
- Engraved Dies: Custom dies available for unique numbering or lettering. Customization is available for both sides of the die with up to 3 characters on each side. $25 engraving fee per die.
