These Terms of Sale apply to all orders placed on this website with Dickey OPCO LLC, operating as Dickey Manufacturing Company (“Dickey Manufacturing,” “we,” “us”). By placing an order, you agree to these terms.
1. Accounts
An approved customer account is required to view pricing and place orders. You are responsible for keeping your login information secure and for all orders placed under your account. We may decline or close any account at our discretion.
2. Orders and Acceptance
Your order is an offer to purchase. We may accept or decline any order, limit quantities, or cancel an order due to product availability, pricing or description errors, or suspected fraud. If we cancel an order after payment, we will issue a full refund.
3. Pricing and Payment
All prices are in U.S. dollars and may change without notice. Prices in effect at the time your order ships will apply. Credit cards are charged when the order is placed. Applicable sales tax is calculated at checkout based on the shipping address.
4. Custom Orders
Custom made items, including custom printing and numbering, are produced to your specifications. Please review all custom details carefully before ordering. Custom items typically require approximately 4 to 8 weeks to manufacture. Custom orders cannot be cancelled, changed or returned once production has begun, except where an error was made on our part.
5. Shipping and Delivery
We ship to addresses in the United States and Canada via FedEx. Shipping charges are calculated at checkout. Stock items typically ship within 24 hours on business days, and orders placed before 2:00 PM Central Time can often ship the same day. FedEx shipments include up to $100 of carrier liability per package; if you would like additional coverage, please note it in your order or call us before ordering. Delivery dates are estimates and are not guaranteed; if you need a guaranteed delivery date, please call us at 630-584-2918 before ordering. Title and risk of loss pass to you when the shipment is delivered to the carrier. Canadian customers are responsible for any duties, taxes and brokerage fees.
6. Returns
Due to the nature of security products, most items cannot be returned once they have left our facility. Unopened items may be returned only with a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) number, which you can obtain by calling 630-584-2918. Approved returns are subject to a 20% restocking fee. You are responsible for return shipping costs, and original shipping charges are not refundable. Refunds are issued to the original payment method. If we made an error with your order, please contact us and we will make it right.
7. Limited Warranty
We warrant that each seal we manufacture is free from defects in material and workmanship under normal conditions of use. Our sole obligation under this warranty is to replace any seal that is returned to our facility, with transportation charges prepaid, within sixty (60) days of delivery and that we determine to be defective. Except as stated in this section, products are provided without any other warranties, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose.
8. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim related to an order will not exceed the amount you paid for the products in that order. We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages, including loss of goods, profits or business, arising from the use of or inability to use our products.
9. Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Illinois, without regard to its conflict of law rules.
10. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms of Sale at any time. The version posted on this website when you place your order applies to that order.
